We’re proud
to announce that “Bulls, Brands and B.S.” has been awarded a Bronze Medal Prize in the 2011 Independent Publisher Book Awards for Best Marketing. The Independent Publisher Book Awards were conceived in 1996 as a broad-based, unaffiliated awards program open to all members of the independent publishing industry. The awards are intended to bring increased recognition to the thousands of exemplary independent, university, and self-published titles produced each year, and reward those who exhibit the courage, innovation, and creativity to bring about change in the world of publishing.
The other exciting news is that co-author Joyce Pallister-Bronsch has been awarded the distinction of “Cowgirl of The Year” from the Cowgirl Cattle Company, a charitable organization. Joyce was recognized for the work she has done in co-authoring, publishing and distributing the books containing the work of her late husband, H.G. (Hank) Pallister, as well as her own poetic writings in cowboy style contributing to preserving the history of the ranching and livestock industry in Alberta.
